CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive – Fiorina’s comment called ‘Biden-like’ « – Blogs from CNN.com

Top McCain-Palin official Carly Fiorina is facing criticism from some within the campaign for a day of what they call “very Biden-like” comments, after the former Hewlett-Packard CEO told two separate interviewers that neither member of the Republican ticket would be capable of running a company.

Tee hee hee.

Asked by a St. Louis radio station whether she thought Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin could run a company like Hewlett-Packard, Fiorina responded: “No, I don’t.

*snort*! Stop it!

Asked about that remark on MSNBC, she made the same unprompted assessment of the GOP presidential nominee. “I don’t think John McCain could run a major corporation.”

OMG! Stop! My sides are killing me!

This campaign source said Fiorina would be discouraged from additional media interviews.

GOP delegate’s hotel tryst goes bad when he wakes up with $120,000 missing – TwinCities.com

He met her in the bar of the swank hotel and invited her to his room. Once there, the woman fixed the drinks and told him to get undressed.

And that, the delegate to the Republican National Convention told police, was the last thing he remembered.

When he awoke, the woman was gone, as was more than $120,000 in money, jewelry and other belongings.

Oh my God. I think I need to scrub my eyeballs and my ears. Rarely have I seen such glib, idiotic, shallow, SMUG stupidity. Apparently the guy is a chickenhawk, too – no military service. Very easy to be glib about war when ya never had to fight in one.

Fucknozzle.

What I wanna know is, what the hell is he doing travelling to a convention with, and I quote

a necklace valued at $5,000, earrings priced at $4,000

I mean, where did he hide the cocktail dress?

I love this!

I love this – just got it set up here in work.

Hack Attack: Control multiple computers with a single keyboard and mouse

You don’t need a hardware switch to share one keyboard and mouse amongst several different computers. All you need is the free, cross-platform application, Synergy.

Synergy connects one keyboard and mouse to any computer on your network, making a dual- or triple-computer setup work more like a dual- or triple-monitor setup. Synergy even allows you to share clipboard data across your computers and operating systems.

Just sayin’, is all

This is a google maps link to the sports centre that Sarah Palin had built in Wasilla, Alaska.

Notice how there are no cars parked around it? If you zoom out, look how damn far away from everything it is. It’s too far for kids to walk or cycle to, and nobody is driving out to it. Via Salon:

“Today, the sports complex sits like a huge airplane hangar outside the Wasilla city limits, in a clearing in the woods. Since Palin’s administration decided to build the complex far from Wasilla’s population center, kids can’t walk there or ride their bicycles. On a recent, drizzly afternoon, the cavernous building sat nearly empty. Inside, two girls glided aimlessly around on the ice rink.”

Sheesh.
